The Monterey Symphony wants your visit with us to be the best we can make it for you. We offer a variety of discounts, allow for ticket exchanges and have complimentary valet parking for all patrons. Box Office Policies and Procedures
All the below stated policies and procedures are subject to change without notice.

The Box Office at the venue is open 1 ½ hours before every performance for Sales and Will Call.
We can only guarantee tickets purchased directly from the Monterey Symphony. Tickets purchased from unauthorized sources may be stolen, counterfeit or invalid and may not be honored. They are often inflated in price and are not eligible for assistance if tickets are ever lost or stolen or if the event is canceled or rescheduled. The Monterey Symphony is not responsible for tickets purchased from sources other than the Monterey Symphony Box Office or the Monterey Symphony website. On our website you will see the notation MONTEREY SYMPHONY (Official Ticketing Site) in the top of the screen when selecting seats.
ADA accessible seating is available to purchase for every method of sale; online, phone and in-person. Accessible seating may only be released when all other tickets are sold out or all other tickets in a specific price range or area are sold out. Box office associates may not ask for proof of disability or ask what the individual's specific disability is.
Sunset Center: For patrons in wheelchairs or walkers we offer seats which are removeable as well as seats with arm rests that swing for an easy transfer. Contact the box office with any questions.
Forest Theater: Wheelchair spaces are available between the upper and lower seating sections. There is a ramp with a slight incline to this area. Folding chairs will be available for companion seating.
We ask that everyone in your party, regardless of age, be able to sit quietly through a 2-hour concert without disturbing other patrons or the artists.
It is our policy to seat families with children under the age of 6 in the rear of the theater in order to allow for a discreet exit if needed. All members of your party are required to purchase a ticket. We do not offer infant passes to our performances.
At the Sunset Center should you wish to take a small break, you are welcome to watch and listen to the concert on the live monitors located outside the auditorium entrance to the theater.
E-Ticket / Print at Home: Tickets are sent via email.
Will Call: Tickets can be picked up at the Will Call window when the venue opens prior to the start of the performance.
Mail: Mailing of tickets is only available for Subscriptions. If there is a special need for individual tickets to be mailed contact the admin office.
Students, Teachers and Military (Active Duty, Retired and Veterans) may purchase discounted tickets online, over the phone or in person. Limit 2 tickets per concert. Online simply select the ticket type that applies to your discount. Sunset Center: $12 tickets are offered for Tier 3 only. Forest Theater: $12 tickets, General Admission.
Carmel Residents Association may purchase discounted tickets online, over the phone and in person. Limit 2 tickets per concert. Online enter promo Code CRA before selecting seats from the map. Sunset Center: $22 tickets are offered for Tier 3 only.
Carmel Foundation members may purchase discounted tickets online, over the phone or in person. Limit 2 tickets per concert. Online enter promo Code TCF before selecting seats from the map. Sunset Center: $25 tickets, valid for Tier 3 only. Forest Theatre: $25, General Admission.
All ticket buyers are able to exchange tickets at no extra cost within the current season subject to availability. If the ticket(s) for the new event exceed the exchange value, the patron is responsible for paying the difference. Exchange requests must be submitted prior to the event.
Facility Use Fee: $1-$3 per ticket has been added to the ticket price quoted. These fees cover the upkeep and maintenance of our venues. There are no additional fees.
Late Seating will be done at the discretion of the House Manager.
No audio recording, video recording or photography is allowed.
By attending a performance, you grant permission for publication of any photo or video in which you appear.
Tickets are valid only for date, time, and event described on ticket face.
All dates, times, lectures, programs, prices & artists are subject to change.
All sales are final. No refunds, except under certain circumstances such as event cancellations at discretion of the Monterey Symphony.
Unused tickets may be donated to the Monterey Symphony for tax credit. Donations may be arranged by contacting the Monterey Symphony via phone, email or in person. Donation requests must be submitted prior to the event.
Ticket reprints can be requested in person when the box office opens prior to the start of the performance.
