Sunset Center
The historic Sunset Center building in Carmel California is home to our indoor concerts throughout the year. The 700-person theater has orchestra and balcony levels, handicap accessibility, and offers concessions at their signature Sunset Café.

Each ticket price includes a $1-$3 facility use fee as required by the Sunser Center.
Students, Military, and Teachers may purchase $12 tickets, valid only for Tier 3. They are available online, over the phone and in person. No promo code required.
Carmel Foundation members with membership cards may purchase $25 tickets, valid for Tier 2 and Tier 3. Use code TCF

Getting Here
Sunset Center is located at San Carlos St at Ninth Ave, Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA
From California State Highway One, take the Ocean Avenue exit and drive down the hill into Carmel-by-the-Sea. Ocean Avenue becomes a divided road at Junipero Avenue. Continue two blocks to San Carlos Avenue and turn left. Drive two blocks on San Carlos Avenue. Sunset Cultural Center will begin at Eighth Avenue and occupies two city blocks until Tenth Avenue.
The north lot is a free lot. Other free lots exist on the south end of the lot and along the streets. Take particular care in parking in Carmel. Where designated spaces exist, you must adhere to the time limits and space delineations. If signs read, "no parking," you can be sure the City of Carmel will enforce this restriction.
- The Monterey Symphony offers complimentary valet parking for all ticket holders. Valet parking is located in the roundabout in front of the main lobby. Please allow for extra time to drop off and pick up your car if you are taking advantage of our valet service.
- A free Public Parking lot is located at the SW corner of Mission Street and Eighth Ave. This lot is reserved for Monterey Symphony ticket holders for Saturday concerts from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Sunday concerts from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

At The Venue
- There are several parking spaces available for patrons with a Disabled Person (DP) placard or DP License Plate, they are located in the roundabout in front of the mail lobby.
- If no more accessible parking is available, we recommend using the complimentary valet parking service provided by the Monterey Symphony located in the roundabout in front of the main lobby.
- For patrons in wheelchairs or walkers we offer seats which are removeable as well as seats with arm rests that swing for an easy transfer. Contact the box office with any questions.
- Concessions will be provided by the Sunset Center.
- Wine, beer, and sodas are allowed in the theater only if they are in Sunset Center reusable cups (available for purchase at Sunset Cafe). Patrons are not allowed to carry food or beverages into the auditorium of the Theater at any performance, except for bottled water and the Sunset Center reusable cups.
- Only licensed service animals are allowed into the venue in the back of the auditorium. Please have your printed license ready to show box office personnel.
- Pre-concert lectures are held in the main auditorium and are 30-minutes in length. The lectures start one hour prior to the start of the concert.
