California Symphony Orchestra's 50th Anniversary

The Association of California Symphony Orchestras hosted its 50th anniversary party at the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Aug. 8 featuring a performance of composer John Wineglass' orchestral composition "Big Sur: The Night Sun."
In attendance besides Wineglass was Nicola Reilly, executive director of the Monterey Symphony and Virginia Marine, marketing and communications manager of the organization.
The celebration was part of a three-day annual conference full of sessions, workshops and networking events held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Monterey Bay Seaside.
The Association of California Symphony Orchestras is a member service nonprofit with nearly 150 organizations with 2,000 board and staff members in its network.
