Wendi Kirby is a composer, recording artist, and classically trained pianist whose music and message inspire creativity and personal expression. Her original compositions are featured on two acclaimed albums released by UK-based Pastiche Records: Bloom (2023) and Wings (2024), the latter recorded at London's legendary Eastcote Studios. As a performing artist, Wendi brings her evocative music to audiences across the U.S. and Europe.

A passionate music educator for over 30 years, Wendi began teaching piano at the age of 14. She studied piano performance with Frank Wiens at the University of the Pacific and additionally earned the ARCT degree from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Throughout her career, she has held influential leadership roles, including President of the California Association of Professional Music Teachers and Founding Teacher and Center Representative for the Royal Conservatory of Music. Her exemplary contributions to the field were recognized with the prestigious MTNA Foundation Fellow Award and the Steinway Top Teacher Award in 2021. In 2025, Wendi founded Piano Freeology, a creative learning platform that helps adult pianists break free from limiting beliefs and rediscover joy, confidence, and self-expression at the piano.
