Teresa Orozco has risen to the challenges of today's musician by dedicating more than 40 years of her life perfecting her art and continually expanding her horizons. Teresa has enjoyed being second and assistant to principal flutist Dawn Walker of the Monterey Symphony for more than 30 years. Her devotion to the arts and music specifically, has developed thoroughly to include all styles of music from Contemporary, Classical, Opera, Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Pop, Brazilian, folkloric and R&B. She is a highly respected orchestral player, studio musician, recording artist, musician contractor, and founding director of the chamber ensembles of Ovation Music Productions. Teresa founded the Avant Flute Choir of the San Jose Youth Symphony Organization, a K-8 music appreciation and choir class for children of farmworkers in Salinas, and has served as a music educator for several Bay-Area high school and collegiate institutions.
