Board and Administration

Jenny Kuan is an Associate Professor of Economics and Entrepreneurship at California State University Monterey Bay, where she teaches entrepreneurship and nonprofit management. Prior to earning a PhD at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, she studied International Relations and Industrial Engineering at Stanford, and then worked as a software developer in Berlin, Germany. There, she also studied violin at the Hochschule der Künste (HdK-Berlin) under Koji Toyoda. Returning to the Bay Area, she worked in manufacturing at Apple and Solectron before joining Stratos, a conductor-less chamber orchestra, later serving on the board of the Cypress String Quartet, led by a fellow Stratos violinist. Prof. Kuan is also a managing partner at être Venture Capital.
