At the age of 18 years I took over the ownership of a ballet studio, teaching ballet, tap and jazz.

Two years later I taught ballroom dancing and managed a studio for Arthur Murray's.

About 1969 I started a banking career and later became a branch V.P. for the San Mateo office and started a new office in Monterey for Great Western Savings.

In 1983 I was invited on the SPCA board. Since then I've been asked back on the board three different times having been chairman twice and chairman of two capital campaigns for them. The first campaign was $20M campaign and second was $13.7M.

Had lots of experience as a board member. Chairman of Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and convention bureau. Board member for Community Hospital, Monterey Institute of International Studies, Community Foundation for Monterey County, Chairman for Pacific Repertory Theatre and Monterey Symphony.

Applied for a new frequency for the City of Carmel for a radio license. We won the license and established the second Classical KBach radio station on 95.5FM.

My last career was working with Lisa Bennett as a non profit consultant for about four years until Lisa retired and left the area.

Currently Chairman of SPCA Monterey and board member for Monterey Symphony.
