Board and Administration

JEFF WALLACE, born and raised in California, received his liberal arts undergraduate degree from Occidental College and his JD from the University of Southern California, and is a retired real property lawyer having practiced for more than 35 years in California and Arizona, most recently as Vice President and Associate General Counsel of The Irvine Company in Newport Beach. He has served for more than 10 years on the Monterey Symphony Board of Directors since he and his wife, Janet, moved to Carmel from Southern California. He has served as a past chair of the Symphony's Governance and Personnel Committees and currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors.
He has been involved with, and fascinated by, classical music ever since taking piano lessons from his mom, and played clarinet and tenor saxophone in bands, orchestras and jazz bands throughout his high school and college years. He is honored to serve an organization which provides the gift of masterpiece performances to our community.
