Leo Keech, Director of Finance & Administration;

Leo Keech was appointed director of finance and administration on
January 4, 2007 and began his duties immediately. As director of finance
and administration, Mr. Keech is responsible for the day-to-day
financial operations of the Monterey Bay area's $2 Million professional
symphony orchestra. Mr. Keech's duties also include payroll management,
budgeting and forecasting, office management and maintenance, and
supervision of the orchestra's box office.
For three years, Leo Keech was assistant manager of the Chorus at the
Metropolitan Opera in New York City. (The budget of the Met's Chorus was
$13 million.) Prior to that Leo was a development associate at the
Monterey Bay Aquarium. He also held administrative positions at the
Monterey County Weekly, formerly known as Coast Weekly, and in an
accounting firm in Walnut Creek. Mr. Keech studied doublebass at the
Boston Conservatory of Music. He resides in Carmel with his daughter,
Mahana.
