Assistant Principal Violin II

After having lived in San Francisco and worked in the administration of the San Francisco Symphony, Lila Woolman decided to move to the Monterey Peninsula. She began to play with the Monterey Symphony in 1990 when she also worked in the Monterey Symphony office as development director. Currently, she holds the position of Assistant Principal Second Violin with the Monterey Symphony. Lila holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Musical performances are many including Colorado Springs Symphony, Symphony Silicon Valley and Santa Cruz Symphony. She is a member of the Capriccio String Quartet and the Montage Trio. She has also performed with Josh Groban, Vince Gill, and Mark O’Connor.
