 Lawrence Rhodes Principal Contra Bassoon, Bassoon III Lawrence Rhodes has performed in the bay area for 30 years. He has performed with every regional orchestra in Northern California & the San Francisco Symphony, Opera & Ballet. He has held principal bassoon positions in the Rockford Symphony, Illinois Chamber Orchestra, Napa Symphony & Santa Rosa Symphony. He spent 20 years with the Mendocino Music Festival. In addition to his extensive classical resume he also performs in musical theater & big band jazz. He is on two Tom Waits Albums. Black Rider & Mule variations which won a Grammy. He recently played saxophone with the White Album Ensemble in its concert with the Monterey Symphony on September 12, 2009.  Return to the Roster |
