Ivelina Katalieva-Kofler Violin As a recent audition winner, Ivelina has been playing the violin with the Monterey Symphony for less than one year. Welcome Ivelina! Educational preparation includes a Master of Music degree from the University of Southern California. She studied with Margaret Batjer, Endre Granat, and Midori Goto. As a soloist, she has performed the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen. As a concertmaster, she has performed Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade" with the Aegean Symphony Orchestra in Greece. Return to the Roster
