Claudia Fountain
Violin
Claudia has
been a violinist with the Monterey Symphony for twenty-two years. She
holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Southern
California and a Master of Music degree from the University of Miami,
Florida. Her musical experience includes the San Jose Symphony, Silicon
Valley Symphony, Marin Symphony, San Francisco Opera Orchestras,
Mid-Summer Mozart Festival, Peter Britt Festival, Mendocino Music
Festival and Music in the Mounts Festival. Claudia is a music instructor
in Berryessa Schools and also gives private violin instructions. Claudia
chaired the musician’s panel of the music director’s search committee
which chose Kate Tamarkin in 1996-1998.
