 Brian
AndersonPrincipal Trumpet The 2008-09 Season is the fourteenth season Brian has served as the Monterey Symphony’s principal trumpet. He currently holds that same position with the Fresno Philharmonic, Stockton Symphony Orchestra, North State Symphony (Chico), and the Vallejo Symphony. Brian has a Bachelor of Art Degree in Music from San Francisco State and a Master of Art Degree in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has taken part in musical tours of Africa, the Middle East and Japan and directed the St. Francis Brass Ensemble. Former music director Kate Tamarkin selected Brian as the soloist in Trumpet Concertos by Molter and Hummer in April 2002. He was born and raised in Redding, California. Return to the Roster |
